Learning all the time

I'm about to change over to managing my own hosting. I've been doing some of my own sites for a while and am beginning to feel comfortable. But I have other sites hosted with someone I met during my internet training. He thinks I'm ready to fly solo so off I go right after the holidays.

I did learn a few new things today as I got my newest site www.douglashealthservices.com up and running. That's the thing with all this. Every time you try something new, you learn something you didn't know before.

So that's the way of things. Wish I could find a web design class somewhere which didn't make me do homework or buy unnecessary school books. Just want to learn and use the material...one of these days! But until then, I'll keep experimenting.

Internet Marketing - Hosting

Today was the first day that I had a problem with all the web sites I'm creating. My hosting company changed servers and some of my web sites aren't working properly. Shouldn't there have been a message to the various clients?

What's the lesson to be learned here?
Back up, back up, back up!

Luckily my latest web site http://www.arborandcompanycpa.com seems ok. But one of my older ones is not. So one of my suggestions is to make sure you have a reputable company and a back up plan.

Internet Marketing: So much to learn

I've finally come to peace with how much there is to learn in the field of internet marketing. I've got a mentor who is one of the best in the business and there is so much to learn on his mentee site that I was begining to feel overwhelmed.

But then I decided to focus on just one strategy at a time. I've currently got 5 sites and I'm focusing now on taking one of them to multiple pages. You can't do all the things that are possible at once but the goal is to get out there, get a page made, and keep improving it as you learn more.

And it is possible to understand this strange and wonderful world of the internet....but i do advise getting some quality help from someone who really knows what they're doing!

Internet Marketing Training
